La misión de la Coalición de Alfabetización del Condado de Livingston es defender el valor de la alfabetización colaborando con socios comunitarios para brindar apoyo coordinado a la alfabetización de los adultos en el condado de Livingston.
LCLC se fundó para coordinar recursos de alfabetización en el condado de Livingston e identificar las necesidades de alfabetización en nuestra comunidad. Formamos tutores y brindamos tutoría para adultos con necesidades de lectura y escritura.

We're delighted to announce Sarah Niskanen as our new Executive Director at LCLC, beginning May 1st!
Sarah holds Masters, Bachelors, and Associates degrees in various topics, including Legal Studies and Sociology. Her rich work and volunteer experience spans across various sectors, including literacy nonprofits, education technology, and two terms of service with AmeriCorps. In these roles, she has showcased her passion for program management and adeptness in grant writing, fundraising, and volunteer management.
We're excited about the new perspectives and leadership skills she'll bring as we continue empowering adults through literacy.
