Our recent Volunteer Tutor Training brought together an incredible mix of people from across Livingston County—all showing up with one thing in common: a desire to help. From first-time volunteers to those with past experience, the room was full of energy, curiosity, and connection right from the start.
Tutors practiced real-life scenarios, learned how to keep things simple, and discovered that meaningful tutoring often starts with something as basic as a conversation.
We're so excited to see this group begin making connections, building confidence, and supporting adult learners in our community in ways that truly matter.
Want to make a real difference? It can start with just one hour a week. It’s never too late to learn, and you can be part of that journey for someone else.
